20 Million TRY Support for EV Charging Station Investors from The Turkish Ministry of Industry
The Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology announced the new support package. According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, non-refundable support will be given to electric vehicle charging station investments, up to 75 percent and 20 million TRY (Approx. 1,35 million USD) of the investment.
In the March 22nd issue of the Turkish Official Gazette, the regulation of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology on Amending the Regulation on the Technological Product Investment Support Program has been published. With the regulation, state support for technological investments is increased. According to the package published in the Official Gazette, investors who want to establish an electric vehicle charging station will be provided with non-refundable support up to 75 percent and 20 million Turkish Liras of the investment cost.
According to the regulation, a non-refundable support of up to 60 percent and up to 10 million Turkish Liras of the project cost will be provided for the development of technological products resulting from R&D studies. Investors will be able to receive 25 percent of the support as a down payment if they give a guarantee. The company benefiting from the support will be asked to complete the project within 36 months. For problems to be experienced, an additional 6-month period will be granted for once.
